New Zealand Motorcycle Tour General Info:
We run freedom tours where the day to day travel options are left to the discretion of the rider. The pace of the day, your riding companions and the route you take are entirely up to you. But of course we are of some help !! The tourguide convenes a group meeting each evening where possibilities for the following day are previewed. Information about routes, scenic points of interest, cultural site and even things to avoid is presented, discussed and any questions answered. This briefing combined with our tour pack and maps will provide enough detail for you to make constructive plans for the following day. These meetings also give the opportunity for group feedback and Roll of Dishonour where riders have to explain any misdemeanors that may have befallen themselves or the machine since the group last met.
We have divided our New Zealand Motorcycle Tours into two types.
Here is how we have done it:
New Zealand Deluxe Tour:
A high standard of accommodation - private
facilities, television, phones, most establishments are
liquor licensed. Most have breakfast and dinners included.
Motor lodges and hotels. Luggage van and motorcycle
guide.
The Grand Tour:
19 nights accommodation in hotels, lodges, 3 nights farmstay, private facilities, 6 dinners, 7 breakfasts, launch
trip Milford Sound, interisland ferry, luggage van, guide on motorcycle.
(dependant on numbers), full insurance. Maps and full itinerary/route guide.
Motorcycles:
Motorcycles available are the same as the
rental bikes. It may be difficult to guarantee an exact
model due to operational requirements that can change day
to day. Generally, those with pillions and special
requirements- size, height, handlebar configuration etc
get priority.
Payment:
20% deposit required with booking.
Balance on arrival, in New Zealand dollars, preferably
via bank draft or telegraphics/wire transfer.
Alternatively, all major international credit cards are
accepted. Deposit non refundable if cancellation is
within 30 days of tour commencing.
